1. About Us
MACSYS Shipping is a UK-based international logistics company providing reliable door-to-door shipping and delivery services from the United Kingdom to Ghana. Our services include parcel collection, air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and final delivery to customers across Ghana.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a shipment with MACSYS Shipping through telephone, WhatsApp, email, our website, social media platforms, or by delivering goods directly to our UK warehouse, the sender authorises MACSYS Shipping to:
- Collect or receive the shipment;
- Transport the shipment by air or sea;
- Arrange customs clearance where applicable;
- Deliver the shipment to the named recipient in Ghana.
By using our services, the sender confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The sender also confirms that they are authorised to ship the goods and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Prohibited and Restricted Items
MACSYS Shipping does not accept shipments containing prohibited, illegal or dangerous goods, including but not limited to:
- Firearms, weapons, ammunition and explosives;
- Fireworks and explosive devices;
- Illegal drugs, narcotics and controlled substances;
- Counterfeit or pirated goods;
- Hazardous chemicals and toxic materials;
- Flammable liquids and gases;
- Human remains or body parts;
- Live animals or animal products prohibited by law;
- Ivory, endangered species or wildlife products;
- Currency, bearer instruments and bullion;
- Precious stones, loose diamonds and high-value gemstones;
- Pornographic or obscene materials;
- Goods prohibited by UK or Ghanaian law;
- Any item restricted under international shipping regulations.
MACSYS Shipping reserves the right to refuse, inspect, confiscate or report any shipment suspected of containing prohibited or illegal items. Where prohibited goods are discovered, they may be surrendered to the relevant authorities without compensation to the sender.
